DISCOVER
Starting from grassroots, we will have a discovery call and I’ll look at what the product is, the size and feel, and what materials may work best. It’s then important that I get to know your brand and your competition. Together, we’ll establish a clear road map for your packaging design to both function well and succeed.
DESIGN
Next step is to get the creative juices flowing and the design phase is in full swing. I’ll consider key elements such as colour, typography, shape and how the design will best catch the attention of your target audience.
DEVELOPMENT
This process is all about refining the package. The objective here is to make sure that the final design aligns with the goals we set out to achieve and making sure the package will function well and the consumer believes in the product.
PRODUCTION
This stage is about the dieline and the tail end of the design process. The dieline is the flattened template for your package. This is where the artwork is placed and then goes to print. I help mark up the template with all print details, mandatories and finishes. I pay exceptional attention to detail during this stage, ensuring that the integrity of the design is maintained throughout the printing process.
